27 Apr 2008 - Heptonstall Alumni

Hello to anyone that has ever been staff or pupils at Heptonstall Junior, Infant and Nursery School!

We are looking at building a voluntary register of you all.  Are you present?

Recently Class 4 have been doing some work to create a mini museum that will go on public display at Heptonstall museum.  As part of the project pupils have been collecting peoples stories and memories of the school in days gone by.  We would love you to contribute by sending us some contact details, telling us what you are doing now, where you are now and your memories of your time at Heptonstall.

With your permission, through the Parents and Friends Association, I would like to keep your details and memories in electronic form to share with future generations.

The best way to take part in this project would be to add an entry to the Guestbook on the school site.  You don’t have to make your contact details public as you will be offered to option to not display your email address.

If you are aware of someone that may be interested but doesn’t have access to email you could get their permission to email me their contact number or address  and I will contact them.

Please note that any stories or memories that are left will be deemed to be public information and may be made public.  All contact information will be dealt with in compliance with the data protection act.  It will not be shared with anyone else and will only be used for the purpose for which it is collected i.e. for the PFA to contact you re the Heptonstall Alumni.

Thankyou very much for any help that you may be able to give us. The Alumni is open to all ex pupils and staff over the age of 18.
